Some People Poem by Naomi Waters

Some People

Do people always assume their lives will be long?
Full of happiness and prosperity
Are they the ones who ignore the bad
Vainly pretending it simply isnt there
As if the world would revolve around such a person
Blinded by greed and ambition
Their eyes only see what they wish to see
It doesnt matter how much they try to change
Key word being 'TRY'
They will continue on in the same way
Widening the chasm between social classes
These people are friend to no one
Certainly not one of our fellow men
Bearing no right to be called brother or sister
What must be realized
In order to better ourselves
Is simply thus
Some people are not truly human
They must be seen for what they truly are
Political and sociable sociopaths
