Some Thoughts - 1 Poem by M. Asim Nehal

Some Thoughts - 1

Rating: 4.7

They say wise men speak seldom
How would they know the speech is silver?

When few words can leave a lasting impact
Why speak more and spend gold coins?

A minutes silence is more precious
When loudspeakers are on for hours

Bubbles are for few seconds only
Then they become part of the water

Floating is better than splashes
Stability in life is a sign of continuity.

Silence of a moment is much more precious and we shall feel peace at this moment. An interesting poem is beautifully penned.10

I am glad I had the chance to read this poem! It has the deep wisdom of ancient sages, and the visual imagery of the modern age! A great poem which adds to the saying: Silence is gold. To my favorites' list!

Silence is golden, speech is silver! So wise men speak less! When loud speakers make blaring sound, it irritates the ears, but in silence, hearts commune! Great thoughts Asim!
