Something Fresh Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Something Fresh

Something fresh

We have become selfish
And arrogant to finish
With rude style
We have forgotten everything meanwhile

Not to the humanity alone
But we have gone
Step further
To annihilate the nature

We have cut trees
Made big roads
But not planted new ones
To replace old ones

We want to inhale fresh air
But to find from where?
We want shed alright
But find nothing to our delight

We want big mansions
All facilities for new cars
But will do nothing
To help nature to bring something fresh
