Something To Say - Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

In society today
It seems as if many have something to say
Yet, it appeaes as they speak the wind simply blows it all away.
Leaving most people wondering what was really said
Economy high, families can barely eat
Many are wondering how to make ends meet
Through all it politicians deny defeat
Reminding people of the America
We all know as sweet
Yet seeking ways to bring
the masses of people relief
Many people protesr to have something to say
I just pray we the people hear and also heal
For the rest of our years
May many say something we need to hear
