Sometimes Poem by Kishore Asthana

Sometimes

Sometimes,
When lust dissolves
In One-ness
'Two' is no more
Belonging beckons
And love,
Childlike
Holds its little finger
Waiting silently
For the 'other' to return
Without whom
It has no home

I wish I could
Live in this moment forever
But life resumes
And once again
You are you,
I am I
And love is all
That we have
Till the next time
