Song Of Wyoming Poem by Rajeev Deshpande

Song Of Wyoming

O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
Mountains fade in blue.....

Mountains fade in blue; around prairies abound
Lonely runs the way; sea of grass around

Flashy blue grama; fecund river sides
Fluffy float the clouds; swiftly eagle glides

August stands 'The Hill'; stillness rules the land
Chirps awaken morns; eves are music band

O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
Mountains fade in blue.....

Mighty blows the wind; winters grip the plains
Broth brings the warmth; vigour life regains

Landscapes are fancies; canvas is the sky
Ever-singing flows; lush green carpets lie

Bisons graze in herds; grasses dance in breeze
Summers liven life; lakes in winters freeze

O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
Mountains fade in blue.....

Deep underground; fossil fuel is found
Faunas grace the land; floras flourish around

Sport is Rodeo; life is challenging
Full of adventures; land of Wyoming

Life is rough and tough; nothing get at ease
Blood, sweat and tears; struggles never cease

O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
Mountains fade in blue....

Ranch is the realm; cattle is the wealth
Horses are companions; robust is the health

Open-hearted folks; Natives sons of soil
Culture they preserve; unmatched their toil

Bounty is the land; blessed are cowboys
Nature nurtures life: here I find my joys

O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
Mountains fade in blue.....

Mountains fade in blue; around prairies abound
Lonely runs the way; sea of grass around

O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
O Wyoming! Dear Wyoming! !
