Sooth the soul-poet

As a schoolboy
it seemed a symbol of decoy
everybody was speaking lies
or trying to convince the wrong way

as I grew
and knew
this was the reality
I bowed down before an almighty

'God' give me strength
and courage to take a calm breath
escape, as far as possible, from telling the untruth
and soothe the soul

somewhere, it was creating a hurdle
somewhere people were not convinced
sometimes my own conscience did not permit
anyhow it was an internal struggle and didn't suit me

as a poet, the path was open
something true was to be written by my pen,
sometimes. the situation forced me to remain desperately driven
but in mind, the answer was certainly given

the poet and poetry
both belong to the powerful arms of the divinity
it has deep penetration and impact
and this is one of the astonishing facts

poetry is not the medium to propagate your thinking
but it is a genuine way of inkling
by seeing the things around
and some burning problems on the ground
