The cry does not stop
We raise it to the top
To raise hope for release
God, grant us peace
What on earth is happening?
Why have stooped and act demeaning?
What crime have they done?
Why their fate is blown?
O girls, we feel shame
On our culture and blame
Who has raised us with no values?
We are simply nothing but vultures
Even if they are released unharmed!
Who shall not be simply alarmed?
If their virginity is violated and abused
Oh god, spare us to believe and refuse
Are we not burden on earth?
Is that what religion makes us to breathe?
Are we simple insects to perform such an acts?
Whole world is sad and reacts
* Over abduction of 265 girls by militants

Commendable piece Hasmukh ji. it is true that women are being looked upon as mere; objects, they are subjected to every abuse that prevails in the universe. we can just pray for this oppressed folk. Shaib Mohd Gani, Talangam Pulwama Kashmir May 14,2014 | Delete this message
