Spilled Milk Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Spilled Milk

Rating: 5.0

Once milk has been spilled.
And witnessed to allow it.
What sense does it make,
To blame a cow.
When that cow was not asked.
To perform the task.
Of producing what had been taken.
But left alone to condone demands.
By those who chose,
Not to have control.
Over what they witnessed.
To perceive some 'thing',
Or someone else...
Should be held accountable.
But not themselves.

Accountability...does that still exist? You come at this at an angle unique and captivating right out of the gate and I dig it.....period.
