'What did you notice?
What did you see? '

All of us stood and witnessed it,
Spiraling out of control.
In fact before that...
We all began to see it wobbling,
Many years before it started its descent.

'And no one did anything about it?
No one made an attempt to correct its course? '

How could we?
We were all intoxicated and enjoying the party.
We saw what was happening,
But...
Is it really our responsibility,
To protect something we claimed loved?
Like I said...
We all were having a good time.
