Spring Poem by Lois Marie Thompson

Spring

Behold this day and what it brings,
Sunshine, Easter grass, yellow green, grown in
Clusters, perfect for the nestled egg,
Agile robin bent on listening to all earths faint
Murmuring,
Winds, not yet breezes, romp and play
Then drop their plunder, when upon a gentle
Creature, while swirling clouds paint
Shadowed pictures on the earth,
Spring is here; God is good; He's brought
Her back again.
