Spring, Peace Keeper - 2016 Workshop Poem by Elena Sandu

Spring, Peace Keeper - 2016 Workshop

Its cold and I'm alone,
Yet the sun sent its beams
The wind brought a breeze
Two birds came to sing
Grateful, their songs, I received.

I play with the light, like a child
Lonely, a-lone, I am no- more.
Feeling spring buds grow slow
in the middle of my chests,
with such a sweet grace!

Small tiny flowers, that will open
With every other breathe.
Beauty and calm filling my chests.
With long, slow, and even breathe
The flower of peace, love, and smiles grow.

Opened my heart towards the sun
And from there, to the moon
And much far, to uncountable stars!
What is your flower's colour, how is its form
all of its beauty, won't you adore?

Let flowers of love, peacefully bloom
Hope from within, radiate, glow.
Relax, feel the wind and generous ground
Let the mind sparkle, large smiles we expand
On our neck, shoulders, and arms.

All love and smiles,
slide to the stomach, down
the legs and feet, our whole being
happiness radiating within
I am you and you are we,
...PEACE...
