I want everyday to start with You
Be with me forever and all that I do
As I sing in church, my hands up in praise
I pray that You'll stand by me in all of my days
I wake up and rejoice, for its another day You have made
It's Your love, Oh Lord, that I would never trade.

Oh, stand by me Lord.
Pick me up when I fall
Stand by me Lord
You're my all in all
Walk with me through all the pain and sorrow,
Guide me to happiness, for I will follow,
It's You I will follow

Reach out and touch my heart and soul
I am a stone but You are a jewel.
I kept my sins locked up so You wouldn't see.
But You broke through because You have the key.
There's so many problems, excuses, and shame.
But that all goes away with the sound of Your name.
When my life finally comes to an end, I will not mourn,
For eternal life is around the bend.
