We promised each other
joining hands forever
making two sides of a ladder
we joined our hopes making rungs to rise
To reach the skies picking the stars
But it did not go as we want
The life outweighed on the rungs
Left in our palms the desire crumbs
We stared up longingly with hands down
My hands did not rise up picking the stars
But I can lay my heart on the ground as blue skies
I can put my eyes on your hands as stars
as long as you don't deprive me from the glance of your eyes
I could not rise you up to touch the high
But I can dedicate my life bringing down the sky
I can make a paradise even from the hell on your eye
as long as you walk shoulder to shoulder with me until die time
