Stop Talking About Race Poem by Hebert Logerie

Stop Talking About Race

What race? Human race?
Stop talking about race
Start talking about space
Start talking about grace
Start talking about behavior
About the Savior
About education
About nutrition
About sickness
About craziness
About peace
About feast
About common sense
About fragrance
About poverty
About opportunity
About decency
About ethnicity
About history
About charity
About freedom
About wisdom
About friendship
About being on the same ship
About brotherhood
About sisterhood
About intelligence
About tolerance
About politics
About logics
About nature
About literature
About love
About above
Start talking about what's right
About the beauty of the night
Be bold, be smart
Be fair and be bright
Flee arrogance and ignorance
Flee anything that makes no sense
Flee anything that happens by chance
Flee anyone who makes no sense
Flee all types of lies
Flee all kinds of flies
Be conscientious, be impartial
Be just and be nonracial.
