Storm Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Storm

A raging beast, it
Bullies the laughter
From the skies; its
Thundering black clouds
Crackle with violence.
Blustering winds
Bellow
Till last beauty of Autumn
Falls from the trees;
Till earth
Finally dissolves in tears.
One fierce blow
Slams the door;
Winter arrives
With no apologies.
