Storm In Your Eyes Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Storm In Your Eyes

Thunder in Your Eyes

I look and I see,
A storm in your eyes.
It makes me wonder why.
You caught me by surprise.

Your visage was so calm yesterday,
But today winds blow violently in your eyes.
What did I do to you to deserve this?
I figured you saw me with another man.

I look and I see,
A storm in your eyes.
It makes me wonder why.
I don't understand your stormy eye.

Oh, I think I know why.
You misunderstood the man I was with.
It was my teacher from college you know.
And now I told you, your eyes just glow.
