Strange Fear Poem by Abdul Wahab

Strange Fear

Strange Fear

In my yard have grown an idea
Like people grow the seed of weed
I wish I could share with you
And that would have been better
But if I could not out of strange fear
And that too would not be unfair either
So I keep it in the rucksack of cloud
And wait silently till it bursts

In my cell have grown some valuable thoughts
Like people nurture vegetable in their backyard
I wish if i could show them or sell them
As people do their painting in galleries
And that would have been an idea better
But if I could not out of peculiar fear
And still that too would not be an idea unfair
So I keep them in the cracks of waves
And wait silently till the foam reaches its shore.
