Strength Inbuilt Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Strength Inbuilt

Strength inbuilt

Though no threat existed
And I never listed
But it knocked my door
Made me poor all the times

He was taken away
From my warm embrace and not allowed to stay
I fainted on ground
Soon after he was not found

His body was cremated
With religious hymns chanted
Making my world so difficult
With losses of all strength inbuilt

I will look at stars and sky
But fail to ask why?
What was fun in picking him specially?
When he needed care immediately?

I shall not question supreme authority
But feel so poorly
With his demise
I stand totally surprised
