Strength Of A Mother Poem by Randy McClave

Strength Of A Mother

Even when she is in times of stress
While wearing a suit or an apron or a dress,
With her worries she will not confess
She decides she is the only one to depress.
Like her there is no other.

When she is fighting her very own demons
From her own beliefs and thoughts and reasons,
Though her soul never weakens
Especially around the holiday seasons.
And never from worries will she smother.

When she is beyond exhausted
Both mentally and physically accosted,
Many times she seems unfriendly and frosted
And lost of personal pleasures it has costed.
But, being there she will always be her druthers.

Nothing will stop her from finding the clout
She needs to do for her children always without a doubt,
And being their for her children she can't be counted out
What she needs to get done she'll take the hardest route.
She is and she has the strength of a mother.
