Subway Caucus Poem by Donal Mahoney

Subway Caucus

An old guy on the subway
with a lunch bucket
tells a young lady with
a brief case Bernie
hasn’t got a chance.
Hillary wins in a landslide
unless Paul Ryan triumphs
as Speaker of the House
and Trump and his foes
go down in the primaries
and the GOP drafts Ryan
so the voters can decide
if Ryan's better than letting
Bill the spouse check out
the White House again.
