overcast from greying sky
no feathers ever did fly
they were eaten last decade
even those fruit trees gone
turn to charcoal for cooking
now they used compacted grass
lpg just too expensive to have
flies on windows like bees
swarming in early morning
some of you might throw up
with all these, open sewage
rats running chasing cats
but they are used to having
they become part of dwelling
rich turn a blind eye on them
except when they need cheap labor

Great write. A bitter reality of this life...how the poor are treated in our societies. Poet's empathy and compassion for the downtrodden can be felt in the poem.
