Suicide Poem by Meagan Reid

Suicide

Take the pills
Swallow them fast
I fall to the ground
Remember my past

I go through this everyday
Fight for my life
I don't want to win
I run for the knife

Take it to my skin
Press really hard
The blood rolls down
Take off the frown

Harder and harder and harder I press
Hoping that I will finally be at rest
I won't have to lie
Just let me die.

I walk in the rain
All alone at night
Gazing at the stars
Remember my scars.
