In the dark
kiss after kiss
flutters between
my shoulder blades
like a floatilla
of migrating butterflies
making their way south
over tense backlands
before cresting the curve
of each buttock
deftly disappearing
down my inside leg
as if measuring me
for an invisible suit
made entirely
of kisses.
Each kiss a master
tailor butterfly.
The swish of your hair
sewing the seams
together.
Your mouth
rivetting my nipples.
By the time your tongue
has fitted the zip into place
I am esctatic
delighted with my suit of kisses.
I wear it all next day
refusing to remove it
with a shower.
You
(like a child)
pointing out
that I have
no clothes on
me like an emperor
dressed to my satisfaction
(listening only to my heart)
in my perfect
suit of kisses.
Your haiku are something else...that always surprise me in their wonderful gathering of the ordinary and presenting it in a truly extradinary way. This made me laugh and think 'Ahhh! ' What you do with the oridnary little moments that others just throw away is beautiful beyond belief and I just love the way you open up the world for me...making me recognise the event but see it is such a new way. I write haiku myself but I just adore what you do with them! They're a joy! GinaXX

I love the part about walking about naked, refusing to take a shower cause it would wash away the lovely 'suit of kisses....fluttering between your shoulder blades.' As Gina said, you have the most awesome power to take the simplest things in your life, like a fluttery, butterfly kiss, and turn it int the most beautiful love poems I have ever read. Each and every one is special in its own way, just as SUIT OF KISSES is. A true double dip of DonallDonall.
