Summer day: Nostalgia Poem by Michal Habaj

Summer day: Nostalgia

in dark forests: thickets and copses:
cyborgs: steel-swarthy constructions:
with mouthfuls of wild strawberries ponder:
what fujara was: who was a shepherd:
I would drink some whey: but the icon of sheep
on the cyborg's steel coat: won't bleat:
won't run away: oh, it won't indeed: the icon of sheep
will neither saturate the body nor soul: the icon of sheep
floats through history: of textile industry: merely decorates walls:
of dilapidating cities: merely stares in silence:
at blue sky: across which white sheep sail:
clouds clouds: cyborg calls: don't you run
from the sight of my eyes: he calls and with his hand
wipes sweat off his forehead: his mouth is black:
cranberries are those cranberries.
