Sunbeams Poem by Char Pattrick

Sunbeams

Rating: 4.0

With a sunbeam on my shoulder here

I wait and see where life does steer

In which direction no-one knows now

So will sleep and wait it out some how

Listen to others talk about things of me

Have a broken heart why cant they see

Hands all shaken and heart all stirred

With unwanted all the fears referred

I sit in silence and think about everyone

Watching the world swirl on by today

Praying that there will be another day

Humming to myself a tune of happiness

Is time to forget and sleep selfless

A nice poem about pondering on what life will be, with a nice flow to it. Thanks for sharing your talents. Ravensong
