Sunlight Poem by Neela Nath Das

Sunlight

Rating: 5.0

I express my gratitude
In the morning when
The first ray of sunlight
Touches the tip of leaves
Of the tall trees and
The grass and shrubs
Wrap them up with
The mild ray.
Rejuvenated I wish
To live more, crossing
The fear of death inevitable.
The Sun sees his face
In the mirrors of ponds,
Rivers, seas and oceans.
The golden light gives life
To every object showing His
Magnitude.......
Another day is added to
My destined days, I feel
I should live more
To get the touch of
Next day's Sun!
