Sweet melody of night
when the hour is dark,
and there is only starry light
in the burn of its spark.
When the moments are low
and the dreams are in,
there's a starry light and glow
in its fleetingly on spin.

Sweet melody of night
with those tones blending,
to the dark in its flight
that to dreams are bending.
When silences are here
in deep of dreamy ways,
when night is everywhere
and its nocturnal plays.

Sweet melody of night
tender tones on playing,
when the moon is at sight
and its luminary raying.
When dreams are around
and shadows are deep,
in fantasies there found
for the hours to keep.
