Tagore Song (158) Don’t Let Him Sit At Gateway To Your Eye Poem by Tushar Ray

Tagore Song (158) Don’t Let Him Sit At Gateway To Your Eye

(moner manus keno tare bosiye rakhis noyon-dware)

The man is truest to your mind
Why let Him sit in gateway to your eye
Call Him within your very heart
Let your eyes become flooded by tears
When lights extinguish, night comes
Honor Him-sitting in your heart

He will come stealthily in deep darkness
Along own coming-and-going secret-path
He will come and go as he wishes
Whosoever promise to bind him
He never stays there, only the chains stay
You chain your mind by that chain
