Take It Day By Day
We must take it day by day
Our world has changed so much
It won't hurt to say daily prayers
This is nothing that we can rush.
We hardly knew what hit us
A hidden cruel and unkind
Virus straight from hell
Tries to wipe out all mankind.
Yes, take it one day at a time
Doing what we are told to do
We must listen to the scientists
Who know what's best for me and you.
Forget all the political nonsense
Please, I beg you my friend
Do what they say we must do
So this horrid nightmare will end!
