Tales Of Augmented Reflections Poem by Aaron Priestly

Tales Of Augmented Reflections

Sat across an empty room
Talking to the walls.
I see in the reflection of my glass
A lost and lonely face.
I hope to leave him soon.

So my pride was swallowed
By jade oceans deep.
I hoped to speak these words,
Instead I choked and forgot the pain.
My shadow never followed.
