Tampering With My Juice Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Tampering With My Juice

None of my children,
Have resulted from adoption.
I know them.
I was instrumental in their creation.
And I am there present in their lives.

For someone to think,
One of my children can be taken...
OR borrowed,
For the purpose of re-creating them...
As to have them go unrecognized.
Or dressed to impress,
Without my acknowledgement?
Are in for quite a surprised,
When my children inform me instantly...
Who has been tampering with my juice!

None of my children,
Have resulted from adoption.
I know them.
I was instrumental in their creation.
And I am there present in their lives.
Just as they are in mine.
