Tears from a broken heart
I feel the cuts
Within these beatings
The razor blades of sorrow
Cutting anguish deep within
Pain, like nothing ever felt before


Wreckage of a broken heart
So familiar this feels
As if millions of miles
Of memories
Crashed into this mind
Taking hostage any happiness
That existed all before


Why do the best times.
Turn for worst?
Down a spiral
Way down
Into the darkness
Depths of loneliness
Where all voids
Meet to scream
In silence
Upon the deafness
Of true love


Tears from a broken heart
Everything seems beyond repair
But somehow I know there is something
Something rather special
Beauty in flight
Floating to be found
So it can heal us
Like we have
Never been healed before


But if it had to be
Only one of us
I would make sure
The healing would go, to you
All for you


I would rather suffer internally
Than keep seeing
The sorrow of your tears


Tears from a broken heart
I never want you to feel pain
Ever again


If somehow I am never loved again
At least I would want all of the love
To all go to you


My heart sacrificed

In a sacred attempt towards happiness
