Tears That Cry Poem by Melissa Coleman

Tears That Cry

Rating: 5.0

I want to just shut my eyes and fall
To stop breathing
That is all
In my mind it's creeping
It'll make me take so many dangerous risks
Kill me please it's eating me alive
Slit my throat and wrists
The blood pours out perpetually from my sharp knife

Beat me till it ends this
Tie a rope around my throat
Death is breathing me in and swallowing me in its crevice
I must make a mental note
Its heaven is luring me in
I can't stop its lust
I want to devour it within
When the chance to take some, I can taste the sweetness of corrupt

It's gnawing at my bones
I'm bawling from the pain
This leaves me feeling alone
Like I'm drowning in the rain
I can't reach the light
My hope has disappeared
It was all that kept my mind upright
So I know the thought of ending has reappeared

Inside I have already died
You can't say I didn't try when I commit suicide
