Texas Blueberries Poem by Shelly Stevens

Blueberries from Texas
Bought at my local market
So fat and sweet
The taste of a summer
Long ago
A first kiss
Among the brambles
By a nearly dry creek
Lips touched with purple
Touching mine
For the first time
