That Eternal Light Poem by Khalid Albudoor

That Eternal Light

Lowering my eyelids
I transcend high into the vast sky,
Passing through the space
Between tow clouds
I think of my body on earth
How tiny is that dote is?

Why worry about anything
Clinging to the illusive, passing life
We
Stardust will soon disappear in the endless universe.

Descending into the inner stillness
I abide in the space between two thoughts
Myself become filled with light.

As myself dissolves,
Vanishing in the emptiness,
Nothing remain
But that eternal light of consciousness.
