That Song

Liked it, the first time I heard it
Fell in love, when you explained it

Has stuck in my mind
For every time it reminds
Me of that face, so beautiful
That heart, so kind
That risk taker, so careful

Though i am no longer addicted to it,
Like I used to
Though I do not understand the words,
Like I would love to
I still play it every while
Especially when I am blue
And I feel alright, yet it is a sad song
Yes I know, a contradiction It is
But maybe because,
It reminds me of you,
And the memories, make me feel alright

Even though we cannot repeat the good moments,
The way I play-repeat the song
Just know that no other song, may be one, has had such an impact on me
Just know that no other person, only one, has had such an impact in me

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
