The Awesome Twosome

They fight,
They scream to the top of their voice,
They pull and push each other,
And sometimes even hit without making any noise!

They try to copy each other,
Always wanna win and never lose,
And cry to gain sympathy,
When one doesn't get their dues!

At times they are so loving,
Hug n kiss each other intact,
Fondly play with their own toys,
Without rendering any cruel act!

Noise and noise is the only thing,
When they are around,
Screams and cries are common,
Silence is hardly found!

But they bring in so much of happiness,
And makes my life vibrant n bliss abound,
They are none other than my 2 Naughty brats,
Whose presence only makes joy surround!

    I am made to look back to the days when I too had two such' wicked brats'! It was sometimes hell yelling at them! Now they are grown ups and withdraw to their own cells! How I miss those yester years of their romping and hurly burly! !
    I can visualize how you run round to ease the tension and hug them in turn! The bliss and brunt of parenthood! ! A lovely write! ! (Report) Reply

    Brings back memories when my 2 daughters were little.They can drive you crazy, but when you see them asleep in their beds at night, quiet and so sweet, all you can do is thank God for them. Very nice poem! (Report) Reply

There! little girl; don't cry!
They have broken your doll, I know;
And your tea-set blue,
And your play-house, too,
Are things of the long ago;
