“the Beautiful Struggle” Poem by Jorge Luis Hernandez

Though sometimes in life we may loose our way
Were only humans we do in deed commit mistakes
Although our stance in life may seem fogy our even in a situations opaque
we shall not ever let our faith drift away
Never let failure contain you in fear
Its okay to fall
For every time we fall our divine God will pick us right up

I believe that the strength of your faith
the purity of our hearts, pave the path to Love, joy and harmony
that’s something that’s been carved in deep inside of me
But the overflow of faith my yield to the congruence of extremist beliefs
Which on occasions distorts our absolute objective of peace and tranquility
Who’s to say your right and I am wrong
No one trough the eyes of a human has the right to judge upon

If “Love is my religion”(-Ziggy Marley) only God can Judge
If “ Music is my religion” (-Jimmy Hendrix) only God may Judge
If I believe “God is a concept by which we measure our pain.”(-John Lennon) only God can judge
If I believe “ Every man gotta right to decide his own destiny.” (-Bob Marley) only God may judge
If I “Demoralize the enemy from within by surprise, terror, sabotage, assassination.” (-Adolph Hitler) only God can judge.
If I believe that “A coward is incapable of exhibiting love; it is the prerogative of the brave.”(-Mohandas Gandhi) Only God may judge.

In this world full of wonders and disgusts
We see less and less miracles
And more acts of kindness covered in ignorant dust
There’s Ideologies of love and acceptance
And revolting acts of hatred and death sentence
At the end of the day we realize that life is unfair in many aspects of its being
But we shall never give up on life
Because it’s a sacred gift from up above
Which at anytime may be stripped away from anyone

Life isn’t suppose to be easy
If it were…..
How would we learn to value what we have?
How would we learn to distinguish, “I’m glad I did” from “I shouldn’t have“?
Life contributes pain but its product is joy
Life, in numerous occasions makes you experience Discrimination and Hate.
To be able to ultimately understand and appreciate the world we face,
they key in life is to always seek your fate.
But in the process never let go of your Faith
Always remember that life is a constant struggle….
But in my eyes its…
