The Beloved Uncle And His Meaning To The World Poem by Silver Akira

The Beloved Uncle And His Meaning To The World

An uncle,
Where to begin,
As a child I lived with you Lonnie,
You raised me,
Never did I leave your place,
I learned from you,
As you taught me to play,
Taught me to love my faimly,
And never give in,
I never told you how I felt,
And I realise now,
Everyone was right,
I caused all those faimly fights,
Though I was told you loved me non the less,
You protected me and you still do,
I vowed to myself I would never lose you,
In the faimly,
I spent the least time with you as I got older,
Now I see my fault,
Please forgive me and know I love you,
Uncle Lonnie,
Thank you for being there when I need you,
I hope you remain,
I hope you beat this cancer,
So these words are not in vain...
I cry each night as I think of you,
Asking myself what should I do,
Each of my friends will write you a verse,
So I hope their words will bring you luck,
You do not know them but I have told them of you..

For one that's brought my sister so much,
And asked for nothing back,
I leave him my best regards,
And hope his life gets better.-Thorin

For the man who loved his niece,
A sweet caring girl,
That cared for her when nobody else did,
And stuck by her side in times of need.
I give him my prayers and hope he gets better soon,
I wish him the best in the battle ahead.-Lexie

Lonnie,
How great you've been,
An uncle better than most.
Your body may have lived its length,
But your memories will be forever kept.
Kept within our most cherished possesions,
For the great things you have done.-Chris A. Majkut
