Why does this bird, unlike other birds
Wake at 2 A.M.
Then sleep as other birds sleep
And co-currently weep
While putting up this flying act
This bird no longer a singer
Why will this bird not sing
Has the worm starved this marvelous bird
When full of hunger
And so the worm wonders
If the bird ever stopped and thought
Oh yes it sure did indeed
But the worm blindly chose to crawl
And now the worm goes back to think
Of the happier bird
That would gather it all just for them worm
To sing and chirp
The lovely quiet bird,
That would wake at 2 A.M.
