The enticing aroma in fragrance
So spirited within the snare
Just a single rose in a bush
My wandering eyes carry me there
The beauty appeals to a soft kiss
My listless heart entrapped in care
Wilfully I take a careful touch
The thorns on the stalk are bare
Watch out and mind your own pains
The blooming rose does not care
But please do not be envious
Because many a bee buzzes over there
Wilting and withering petals go off
Slowly one by one in the swaying air
My heart sobs by a painful pinch
And I realise the rose is nowhere
Stinging sharp bristles of pain
Instantly jabbing towards the sky
I find surrounding the green
Colours then creating a masterpiece
Pain in joy, hiding the beauty…
