Dancing in the cloak of night
under the pearlescent moonlight,
I'm feeling quite alright -
better still, if you are in sight.

Hey, what do you say;
Tonight, shall we sing to the stars,
As they twinkle on from afar?
Hey, I wonder if you know;
every night, when I close my eyes,
It is you I see there in the skies -
You, the brightest star in sight
and I, your faithful moon.

Come, let us light up the night!
