The Child Within Me Poem by Didith Marcelo

The Child Within Me

A child who takes hold and suffered, lost it in the wind
Taken by the chance that has deceit and lies
A steps into a journey hoping a reality will guide
A veracity is needed to insure and adjure
When life's gets tough, prayer is all about
Bound to push me and set my knees to humble down
Letting a heart to listen, in a deep deep soul
Still a cry of child who takes hold and suffered lost it in the wind.

Ay me! Whence is that assurance
To love and deny what is not truth
To trust ones heart and not thrust and hurt
If I die today should that be like a pearl or like a precious gems to be called?
Does death reveals and sound of an honesty?

I long for someone's speech
The one who is close to my heart
I long for her kindness and of honesty
That she may shed and share it with me
But when isthat?

Oh, a child inside need to hear
A simple music with honesty and care
A mouth with readiness of validity and of truth
And alacrity will console me here and there
If there's still a chance to be given
And oh still there is!
...as long as life goes on still change can call.

If death will claim me
I hope there's no regrets
That the chance never been wasted and grant my request!
A simple and honest mouth without Proud heart is all I need
A curiosity setthat leads me to search
The origin of mine; the life I never knew that half where it began.

Say something! Say something!
Please listen to me!
Then illusion stop, it struck my soul and saw in a moment
That the person whom I long has no the ability to speak and hear.
