The Crocodile's Costume Poem by Paul Hartal

The Crocodile's Costume

Curious about the hidden meaning
of his dream, the crocodile consulted
his friend, a rhinoceros, who was also
a trained dream interpreter.

"So what sort of costume did you wear? "
asked the rhinoceros.

"Well, I was dressed up as a priest", said the crocodile.

"Oh, your dream reveals that you have deep spiritual
needs", said the rhinoceros.

"You mean that I desire to drink a lot of alcohol? "
