My Devotional Today That I Got….

Exodus 4: 13
"Oh, my Lord, please send someone else."

God has called Moses personally,
but Moses doesn't want to fulfill the task God gives him.

First, he says he's not capable.
Second, he wants to know in more detail
what he should say to the Israelites.

Then he objects
that the Israelites certainly won't listen to him,

and when God gives him a couple supernatural signs
to convince his people,

Moses still doesn't want to go
because he is not eloquent.

Although God takes away all his objections,
Moses just doesn't want to go.

Moses knows that the task will be difficult,
and he would prefer someone else to do it.

But God has called him, and in the end Moses obeys.

Moses is not the only one who feels overwhelmed
or unwilling to fulfill his God-given task.

The prophets Jeremiah exclaimed: "Ah, Lord GOD! Behold,
I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth" (Jeremiah 1: 6) .

Jonah fled to escape his task.

Gideon felt incapable (Judges 6: 14) .

Are you ready to fulfill whatever task God has in store for you?

Oft i am hesitating too,
whether this serious task that God asks me,
i am able to do or not,
i am constantly talking to God on this daily spot,

The Lord says:
dare, and refuse me not!

i am but a human being, i have my great doubts,
i love God since i know He is always nearest me,

i have told Him a myriad times that i eagerly wish,
but can i keep my words, am i strong enough?

The Lord says:
look back upon the great wonders your dear grandmother got,
the great wonders your beloved mother got,

the greatest wonder you got when you were a kid,
you almost died by that tropical disease typhus abdominales,
your beloved mother prayed everyday anew for you,

dare, and refuse me not!

God has called Moses personally. People have gained the devotional beauty. God's tender touch is felt very well with Biblical verse. Our devotional attitude we have revived beautifully. Every human being should be ready to fulfill the task given by God. This poem has inner beauty and scriptural values. This poem is an outstanding poem nicely penned...10

Powerful and beautiful spiritual write. One of the best spiritual poems the great Poetess has ever written. A brilliant approach on how to bring to readers the great scriptures and then substantiated with what exactly happened on the person's life. A very convincing, moving and powerful poem. A lucid and vivid portrayal. Onto my Poem List.
