The Divine Kiss Poem by Dipankar Sadhukhan

The Divine Kiss

Rating: 5.0

I saw a girl wandering alone
In a garden of rose.
I was curious to know
Why she was alone there.
Just then she called me
With her soundless words.
The bees were flying
From flower to flower
And busy to collect honey.

I got surprised
And stood with her call.
Like a violent storm
She rushed to me.
When she told me
She was searching me
For many many years,
I got startled.
Then I could know
She was my first love
Whom I met for the last time
Eighteen years ago
In a garden of love in spring.

Time changed;
We grew matured
But our love remained unchanged.
I have wandered
In the gardens of love
For eighteen years
Only to find her.
Perhaps she suffered
Much more than I did.

Just for a minute
She looked at my face
As if it was a mirror.
Then she embraced me.
With the warmth of her breasts
My frozen heart got rejuvenated
And I felt relaxed.
My heart regained
The rhythm of pulsating.

I saw her curved rosy lips
Are so close to my lips.
My senses were almost benumbed
With the sweet smell of her breath.
She held my neck gently
With her divine hands
And began to kiss my lips.
My upper lip got locked
With her soft rosy lips.
Then hers was locked by mine.
And I tasted the paradise milk.

I heard just the bees' buzzing
And the rhythmic pulsation
Of our hearts.
With her sacred love
And divine honey
I forgot where I was.
Our two hearts became single;
Two souls got oneness
And we flew to the unknown...
Just to feel ecstatic.
