The Dragon Had A Powerful Friend Poem by Bruce Larkin

The Dragon Had A Powerful Friend

Rating: 4.8

One dozen daring dudes
Ventured forth on an adventurous day.
They'd set themselves a goal,
A dragon they would slay.

The dragon in question wasn't so sure
He was ready to meet his end,
So he hatched a clever plan
With his brilliant wizard friend.

The dragon would act helpless
And appear to be all alone
While the wizard hid with a liquid
That turned flesh into stone.

The dudes attacked the dragon,
And the wizard let loose his shower,
Which he craftily backed up
With some of his wizardly power.

Now every bit of those dozen dudes
Is harder than the hardest bone.
They came hunting a dragon
But a wizard turned them to stone!
