The Earth Will Die Poem by Shalom Freedman

The Earth Will Die

The Earth will die
Before the Sun
And the Sun before all Stars
And the Stars before the detritus
Of nothing very large

And we us little humans
Somewhere along the way
Will probably have to say good- bye
No matter all we strive to stay

How cruel we'll feel our fate to be
Save Godreshape our Destiny
