Come lay your head on my chest,
Safe in my arms and be at rest.
Share with me Tell me of your day,
Your hopes, your dreams and fears all you have to say.
In your spot upon me all that we need grows,
Feelings and thoughts..our love between us flows.
A time to connect and recharge
Energy exchanged in mutual support..
A feeling of home the safety of a ship in port.
The end of a day with you to enjoy and take in,
My love is beside me now in my arms and in my heart.. As today ends and tomorrow begins.
